This set of eight vintage linen napkins with their hemstitched polka dots is a marvel in craftsmanship. It's a talented sewer who can master the art of hemstitching in linear fashion, but to embark on this form of detailed threadwork in circular dot formation is a whole new layer of skill altogether. 

Like Zelda's quote above, these napkins have been a part of history's most interesting ethereal table-time conversations for quite some time. Thanks to their classic color and durable structure you'd never suspect that they have been the host of party after party, but they do most definitely retain a unique vintage charm that is lacking in modern-day equivalents thanks to their intricate threadwork.  Featuring 20 hemstitched polka dots each measuring 1.5" inches x 1.5" inches, these dinner-sized napkins are companion pieces to a matching tablecloth, which you can find in the shop here.

Made of soft and silky linen that drapes beautifully, the pink hue of the napkins is closest to pale bubblegum, a shade that works surprisingly well with a variety of colors. It is bright enough to add a pop of color to your table but also calm enough to complement other bright shades for interesting color possibilities and tablescape arrangements.
