Vintage Yellow Porcelain Creamer with Handpainted Pink and Blue Flowers
Creamers, just like people, come in every sort of size, shape, color and personality. This vintage one is a bit of a darling with its sweet, sunny shade of golden yellow and its cheerful handpainted flowers.
We love its interesting shape... buxom around the belly, round in the handle and hexagon-like in its opening. With delicate handpainted flowers and raised dots, it also contains quite a unique color palette of baby blue, raspberry, coral, avocado, pale mustard and gold. All these unique details make it not only a functional server but also a fun conversation piece and a bit of curiosity when it comes to its origin story.
Unmarked, we suspect this creamer may have been made in Japan, but we've also seen similar Parisian designs too suggesting it could have been made in France. Either way it's a beauty both for cream at tea time but also as a makeshift vase for small garden blooms and blossoms.
