GRATITUDE BESTOWS REVERENCE... CHANGING FOREVER HOW WE EXPERIENCE LIFE AND THE WORLD. JOHN MILTON

{HISTORY}

If you wanted to add a little bit of handpainted flair to your holiday table during the late 20th century, you selected a piece like this - Tom Turkey - the star of the show, the king of Thanksgiving. Exquisite in detail, these Tom Turkeys are fun to collect because they come in a wide variety of color palettes, each handpainted in their own unique color combinations from bright orange to natural beige, each one takes on its own cute character. We love this guy for his classic autumn color palette and his ability to blend in with your earth-toned table decor.

This turkey's covered dish purpose most likely was intended to hold candy, but around here we have another fun idea for him too... a thankful jar... where you can add little notes of gratitude regarding things you are thankful for. Collect a batch and share them with family and friends on the big day of Thanksgiving or celebrate gratitude year-round and keep track of the joy from month to month by filling him up with notes of special moments.

Handpainted in a striking vibrant orange, brick, red, green, grey and cinnamon, this Tom Tukey is full of expressive color. He also bears a sticker stamp on the bottom from Sieroc Enterprises which may have been a specialty gift store. Lined with red felt on the bottom for scratch-free display on tables and countertops, he's especially lovely for Thanksgiving table decor, bar cart decorations and holiday mantel styling.

{SPECIAL FEATURES}

- Felt pad on bottom to protect from surface scratches

In lovely vintage condition.  Very clean inside and out. There are three very small chips on the backside of this turkey where the top half and bottom half meet along the edge. They are barely noticeable thanks to this guy's dynamic painting job. Please see photos.
