Vintage Tall Copper Pitcher Made in Portugal
Eternally stylish, timeless in functionality, and classically designed, this vintage copper-plated pitcher was made in Portugal during the 20th century. Tall and aged with just enough spots to give it character, this pitcher overall is very shiny and reflects light in the most beautiful way. The handle is made of contrasting brass giving it a dash of extra design flair and the inside is lined in tin.
Heavy in weight (1.4lbs) and solidly constructed the walls of this pitcher are on the thicker side giving it a substantial composition that can hold up to the weight of heavier flowers or kitchen utensils without the worry of it toppling over.
Copper has been a part of Portugal's history since the 1400s. Although this particular pitcher is unmarked as to a specific maker, we estimate it was most likely made sometime around the 1970s.

We love to display vintage copper all over the kitchen, but in particular in places where the light doesn't always reach. Thanks to its beautiful shiny patina, copper reflects like just like a candle or a lightbulb, adding a warm glow and a cozy aesthetic.
