{CONDITION}
Scottie was most likely made in Japan but spent a lot of time down South in the U.S. His red clay staining is due in fact to the red clay soil found in Georgia which means he's spent his fair share frolicking among the garden. His original shiny smooth glaze is wearing in some spots (by his left cheek, his right hind leg and his left ear) which gives those areas a rougher touch. There is also a1" inch scratch behind his left ear. That is not a vulnerable fault line in anyway - this guys constitution is very sturdy and very strong. Planter opening is chip free the vessel is fully functional and ready to accommodate a pretty plant.
