Vintage Pyrex #401 Small 1 1/2 PT Mixing Bowl - Blue 1950's Dishware
{HISTORY}
The very first set of Pyrex mixing bowls debuted in the 1940's. It was a set of four nesting sizes that contained the primary colors yellow, red, green and blue. A popular and colorful kitchen set, these favorites remained favorites for the next thirty years, continuously in manufacture decade by decade. This bowl is from that original primary design but was made in the 1950s and is the smallest bowl of the set with a 1 and 1/2 pint capacity. It is called blue but the color is more like a bright turquoise which makes it a great candidate for all vintage kitchen lovers since it looks absolutely marvelous next to reds, oranges, bright greens and yellows.
