Super pretty for farmhouse kitchen sinks or potting shed scrub tubs, this vintage porcelain soap dish features a freestanding design with a high back making it suitable for shelves, windowsills, and countertop display.

Enhanced with a pretty bouquet of yellow and blue flowers tucked in beside a coral-colored rose, this bright white porcelain dish contains loads of cottage charm in its simple design. Whether you like to keep bar soap on hand for kitchen clean-ups or gardening scrub-downs, this dish holds a traditional rectangular-sized bar of soap but can also accommodate other soap shapes too including round, square and fatter rectangles thanks to its sloped back. 

If you are of the handy sort and would like to mount this dish on the wall, it wouldn't be complicated process as there is room enough on the back to fashion a piece of wood or wire that would tuck up underneath the backside of the dish so that when hung it would free float on a wall. Please see photos of the back and the bottom of the dish to illustrate this idea. 

Inspiring decorating is always in the details. Although this dish is unmarked as far as maker or manufacturer, we estimate that it was made sometime around the 1960s or 1970s based on its color palette of coral, salmon pink, mustard yellow, butter, spring green, sage and bluebell.
