Vintage Pink Green and White Floral Tablecloth - 48x63 - Linen Fabric
If you live in a rainless climate that permits tables to be set either in a patio or out on the lawn, a luncheon of twelve, followed perhaps by bridge, is not only one of the nicest parties imaginable, but not beyond the possibilities of a simple house. Emily Post, 1960
When Emily Post wrote that bit of advice above she was most likely thinking about pretty tablecloths like this listing. Pink, green and white florals printed on a soft and drapey linen cloth, this elegant and feminine table covering was just made for spring and summer get-togethers.
Thanks to its large size and easy washing abilities, it works great not only as a table cover but also a picnic blanket, adding a splash of color to your outdoor event.
- Impatiens-style flowers
- Delicate, artistically rendered pen and ink design consisting of trailing flowers
- Colors include pastel pink, bubble gum pink, lime green, bright white and black
- Linen Material
Although the fabric is soft yet strong, has a wonderful drape to it and is completely beautiful in design, it does contain two minor flaws. There is one very small, light spot (about 1/4" inch in diameter) near the center of the cloth, which is only slightly noticeable and does not in any way, detract from the overall beauty of the entire composition. There is also a small snag in the fabric (which measures 1/4" inch in length) near the white border edge on one side. Again, this is barely noticeable and not distracting from the overall piece. Please see photos.
Measures 48" inches (width) x 63" inches (length)
Pair this beauty with a collection of vintage mix and match plates in bright white and watch your table (or your picnic!) bloom into a beautiful bouquet.
