Vintage Pair of Ceramic White Bunny Rabbits by Midwest Taiwan circa 1980s-1990s
White rabbits symbolize curiosity and adventure...
Hopping into the shop from the late 20th century, this pair of cute little ceramic bunny rabbits are just the right size for setting a whimsical tone in your kitchen and on your table. Very sweet from tip to tail they are reminiscent of chocolate easter bunny candies with chubby little bellies, a cotton ball tail and ears that sit up straight.
Some might think that decorative bunnies are a design detail meant just for spring, but we love incorporating them year-round. Whether nestled into a snow-white Christmas scene, peeking out from behind a pumpkin or two in fall, wrapped up in pastel ribbons for summer or tucked between birds nests and chicks in spring, these two help set the stage for creative decorating.
Made in Taiwan by Midwest sometime between the 1980s and 1990s, these classic rabbits are highly detailed and realistically posed, making them a natural choice for effortless decorating. There's not a lot of information about Midwest as far as a company so we can't offer any more details as to the backstory of these two, but we do know that they are ready to hop on over to your neck of the woods where creativity abounds and playful curiosity awaits.
- Matching set of two
- Each rabbit features its own Midwest Taiwain sticker on bottom
Both bunnies have had a few adventures in their day, but this is only noticeable if you scrutinize them very closely. Upon such inspection, you'll see the tiniest of chip flakes on the tips of their ears and one above the eye on one rabbit. Again barely noticeable, these do absolutely nothing to detract from these cute little creatures. Otherwise they contain no chips, cracks or staining. Please see photos.
Each bunny measures 4.5" inches (length) x 3.75" inches (height) x 2" inches (width) and weighs 3 oz.
