Meet Safflower!

She's a mini sow made of lead and finely detailed. Measuring just 1.75" inches in length and 1" inch in height, she may be a petite little porcine, but her personality is as big and bright as the day itself.

Unmarked as to maker, we suspect she might be a replica of Britains Model Home Farm Series as she closely resembles their Berkshire Pig Boar and Sow model made in the 1920s. Made of solid lead, Safflower differs from those other farm friends by her finely detailed face and fur. 

A one-of-a-kind as far as we could find, Safflower is as unique as you, which means you'll be two of a pair when it comes to cooking the day away in the kitchen. Like all good pigs, Safflower loves to eat. She also adores cooking and talking about food and eating and cooking and eating some more. Naturally, she's destined to be your best confidant in the kitchen.

Place her on a shelf near the stove, sink, or fridge and give her a front-of-house viewing spot of all the culinary activities, and she'll be as happy as a pig in mud. Except she'll be in the kitchen. On a shelf. Near you.
