{HISTORY}

Cooky! That's how they used to spell it back in the early to mid-20th century. Typically by the 1970s, "cookie" became the preferred spelling, leaving the old style to fend for its nostalgic self. Whichever way you like to spell it out, cookies (and cookie cutters) are a joy known to most kitchens regardless of decades and dictionaries. 

This set was made in Germany sometime around the 1960s. Offered in its original cardboard box, this set features seven cutters in graduating sizes. A decorator's dream, each contains q perfectly round shape and fluted edge, making them especially lovely for shortbread-style cookies, icebox cookies and sugar cookies. A simple blank canvas ready for all your creative decorating designs, their classic shape and construction bear such form and function there's no need to try to improve upon it. Also ideal for biscuits, homemade crackers and cheese treats, these cookie cutters often a wide variety of assistance when it comes to cooking and serving.

{CONDITION}

In lovely vintage condition. The cookie cutters bear some tarnish due to age but all are still very functional. Each cutter is strong and sturdy.  The original box is in excellent shape with no holes or ripped corners. Light paper scuff on back of box.

{SIZE}

The largest cookie cutter measures 3.5: inches (diameter) x  .75" inches (height). The smallest cookie cutter measures 1.25" inches (diameter) x .75" inches (height).

The box measures 3.75" inches x 3.75" inches. Together the box and the cookie cutters weigh 2.9oz
