{HISTORY}

A study in the beauty of ancient art, Florentine trays like this one have been handmade in Italy since the 14th century. Each one is its own unique piece of art, meaning that no two are ever exactly alike.

This one features a colorful floral bouquet inside a ring of gold embossed flowers and a scalloped gold edge. Containing shades of eggplant, blueberry, tomato red, and pine green this is a great statement piece ready to inspire your next decorating project. 

Large in size at 17" inches in diameter, whether used as a serving tray or as decorative wall art, it promises to beautify your life however you chose to incorporate it.

{CONDITION}

In lovely vintage condition. There are no cracks or broken areas. There are a few flaked paint areas where small chips of paint have worn away. These areas are mostly on the side edge of the tray. They are a few very small flaked spots on the front which are all less than 1/8th inch in size. This type of wear is common on vintage florentine work and enhances each piece with an extra dose of aged style. There is also two areas on the front that are slightly discolored. Due to the painting style and the patterns picked up in the grain of the wood, these spots are barely noticeable. Please see photos.
