Vintage Kitchen Shelf Wall Hanger/Holder - 1970s Wood Rack - Lattice Design Made in Taiwan
With ingenuity, you can create proper storage even in a small kitchen. Hanging wall racks and narrow shelves to keep your herbs, jars and cans in single file can be invaluable. (Advice from the Ladies' Home Journal Cookbook, 1960)
{HISTORY}
This vintage hanging wall shelf was originally part of complex spice storage system that involved two separate units. This small, open front shelf hung above a much larger boxy cupboard that contained a revolving chalkboard, interior shelving, drawers and a roll-out bin for dry goods offering a plethora of space for essential day to day cooking necessities. True to its original intent, this mini shelf offers a bevy of options when it comes to use... a caddy for spices, a holder for small cookbooks, a message center, a seed packet organizer, a whole for air plants or kitchen art.... etc, etc etc. This little wonder is mini but mighty when it comes to performing a variety of tasks.
