Vintage James Sadler & Sons Floral Coffee Mugs - Set of Two - Windsor Series
{HISTORY}
Coffee time never looked prettier than with this set of vintage floral coffee mugs.
Made in England by James Sadler & Sons, these two bone china mugs were part of their Windsor series and feature big bouquets of colorful wildflowers on both sides of each mug.
There isn't much information available on JS& S's Windsor series other than that the mark debuted in the 1940s and was in use up until the 1990s. These cups were most likely made between the 1970s and the 1990s.
Each mug features a different floral arrangement, but both contain a complementary color palette, making them especially fun for a mix-and-match collection centered around a wildflower theme. Daffodils, irises, crocuses, forget-me-nots, and buttercups are just a few of the flowers included, and colors range from pale silvery sage to sunshine yellow to pastel blue, pink, and purple.
Delicate yet durable, both mugs hold 1 1/2 cups and offer wide, round handles to accommodate hands and storage hooks of all sizes.
