{HISTORY}

The delectable confectionary known as Jamaica Rumbonen has been delighting candy enthusiasts for decades. Made with real Jamaica rum, the petite log-like chocolates that once resided in this tin were made by van Dungen Donker B.V  candy company (now known as Lonka) in Dieren, Holland.

The rumbonen recipe that Lonka uses has been around since the 1920s, but this tin was made in the 1990s. A nautical vista unto its own, it has timeless appeal with its colorful island imagery and cute rum-toting donkey. And thanks to a removable lid it has endless possibilities when it comes to storage and organization too.

- This tin features a removable top.

{CONDITION}

In lovely vintage condition. Minor scuffs and scratches as aspected with age on the exterior. The interior is very clean and bright with just a smidge of a rust mark on the inside cover. Paper stickers are still intact on each end on the outside.
