Long and delicate, this vintage ivory shaded table runner features the prettiest eyelet pattern, complete with a scalloped edge and an array of intricate needlework designs.

Measuring 14" inches (width) x 50" inches (length), it's well-suited for long farm tables or elegant gatherings that call for linens with a long drape. Soft to the touch, the cotton fabric is thin but not transparent, and the overall design blends a series of repetitive stripes and scallops with eyelet embroidered leaves and flowers. 

A popular embroidery style throughout the 20th century, we love eyelet best when paired with natural woods, burlap, fresh greenery, and garden blooms, making this one an ideal match for country kitchens and outdoor dining tables. 

Classic in design, it's hard to say when this one was made, but if we had to make an educated guess, we'd estimate that it was sometime between the 1940s and 1970s. Machine-stitched and well cared for over decades,  it's a beautiful addition to a linen collection and a lovely springboard for a bevy of creative tablescape possibilities.
