Meet Bluebelle!

She's a vintage handpainted ceramic piggy bank pig that hails from the 1960s-1970s era. In addition to being a cute decor piece for the kitchen, she also acts as your friendly financial advisor by encouraging you to save those ducats for some culinary fun later down the road.

Maybe you want to buy a really expensive ingredient for a new recipe you've been dying to try, or you want to surprise your sweetheart with reservations at a fancy restaurant or splurge on a decadent bottle of bubbly. Bluebelle will help keep you on track.  She'll gently remind you each day that she's here to help you hang on to your savings until you are ready to celebrate something grand.

Piggy banks have been a part of history for centuries and rightly so. In Chinese culture, pigs represent wealth and prosperity so it seems a natural pairing for potteries to have selected the porcine shape when creating ceramic storage banks. Of course, other animals became piggy banks too - but the traditional pig is an enduring classic that still captures everybody's hearts. 

Pig piggy banks come in all shapes and sizes, but Bluebelle is a bit unique. Sitting on her bottom, she's the perfect amount of chubby legs and belly to allow a significant amount of change to fill her up inside. She has long eyelashes, painted flowers on each side, and a handpainted bow on her curly-cue tail. Medium in size with a top-loading slot big enough to accommodate both coins and folded bills, Bluebelle can actually help you stash away quite of bit of change.  Sealed with a removable rubber stopper for easy access and secure storage, she's just the bit of whimsy you need kitchen-side to help stash your cash for future fun.
