Coco Chanel was so enchanted by them she designated them her favorite flower and incorporated them into her fashion designs. Alexandre Dumas fil wrote an entire novel centered around them, and artists throughout history have attempted to capture their unique beauty on paper and canvas. With over 3000 varieties, there are a bevy to focus attention on, but our vintage framed botanical offered here features the Camellia Regina d'Italia, a beautiful tightly petaled pink variety that holds its own against a rose any day.
