Vintage Floral Restaurant Ware Creamer - Park Lane Pattern by Syrause circa 1992
{HISTORY}
Featuring a scalloped rim and pretty white flower buds with bright green stems, this vintage restaurant ware creamer adds a touch of the garden to tables and trays any time of day. Made by Syracuse China in 1992, this pattern called Park Lane was no doubt an idyllic nod to tree-lined streets and garden-lined boulevards.
Appealing to a lot of different types of dining venues from city hotels to country clubs and restaurants to roadside cafes, it is not known which specific establishment this little charmer hailed from, but to give you an idea of one hospitality venue, the Park Lane pattern was in service at coastal hotel on Maryland's Eastern Shore in the 1960s. Perhaps this creamer was part of their collection thirty years later, still serving up something beautiful and delicious to diners across decades.
That's the fun of collecting vintage restaurant ware. They are functional pieces but also daydream dalliances too... sharing stories of people, places and possibilities from past history while creating new present-day memories too.
