{HISTORY}
Hand-stitched with care and colorful flair, this vintage tablecloth is a unique beauty in that you don't often see many dark grey embroidery pieces. Containing a lily pad and lotus flower motif, it features a bevy of fresh colors laid out in ombre style shading giving each flower an almost reflective-style shimmer.
Lovely for fall and winter tablescapes there are lots of colors to work with making it an easy choice for a variety of different styling possibilities. From the earthy shades of autumn to the bold berry colors of winter, this vintage cloth is coordinates beautifully with autumn vegetables, pumpkins and gourds as well as winter citrus and bare branches.
Most likely, this cloth was intended as a covering for a card table or small side table. Perhaps it was part of family game night or a ladies bridge club!

{CONDITION}
In lovely vintage condition. The embroidery stitches are tight and there are no rips, tears or holes. There is an ever so slight line of fading along the crease where it was folded in half lengthwise but thanks to the natural sheen of the linen fabric is barely noticeable, so much so it was difficult to photograph.
