Vintage Embroidered Cocktail Napkins - Bar Cart Linens - Pink Rose in Flower Pot - Set of Two
A drink before dinner should titillate the taste buds and sharpen the appetite...Roy Andries de Groot
{HISTORY}
Dainty bar cart linens, that's what these two are! Of course, vintage linens can be used for all sorts of varying tasks, but these two in particular, sized at 8.5" inches x 13.5" inches, are just the right size to tuck under a beverage and hang from your bar cart when not in use. Pretty for trays, serving and display, this duo was part of a life-long collection curated by a Minnesota seamstress throughout the 20th century.
As a sewer herself, she had a good eye for collecting quality linens that were beautifully executed in the needlework department. This set features hemstitching along one edge and a stylized center icon that boasts a basketweave type emblem and a pink rose growing big and bright from a flower pot container.
Understated design leaves plenty of room styling options, and thanks to the neutral yet interesting color palette of these two, they'd look lovely with a whole host of cocktails - from sparkly champagne to amber-hued whiskeys to the deep reds of berry-colored wines. These linens will not only keep your fellow cocktailers clean and tidy but also they'll add a bit of vintage style to your whole happy hour affair.
