Vintage 1970s Dollhouse Furniture - Floral Fabric & Wood Design Made in Japan
{HISTORY}
Whose ready to retire to the Bermuda room for snacks and sandwiches? That's the little story going on here in this tropical room full of floral dollhouse furniture. Made in 1970s-era Japan from fabric and lightweight wood (possibly poplar, teak, or balsam), this set of four miniature pieces includes a sofa, two side chairs, and a table.
So cute in character, each piece contains cushioned fabric and interesting little design details, like the half moon cutouts on the legs of the sofa and chairs and the bottom shelf on the side table.
The thing we love most about this unique set is the bright and bold color palette. Its floral print includes tomato red, yellow, emerald green, cranberry, windsor blue, navy blue, purple, eggplant and pink. With contrasting patterns between seats and backs, this furniture has tons of personality. Just the kind of joy you need to spark hours of creativity!

{CONDITION}
In lovely yet slightly shabby shape, all pieces are fully intact and strong and sturdy in construction. Due to age the fabric, leans a little towards the shabbier side of dusty but is fully intact with no holes, rips, or tears. One side chair is missing some cording around the edge that would have matched the sofa and the second chair giving all pieces the illusion of a wicker rattan look. The fabric-topped table has one small section of pulled threads on one side. Please see photos.
