Vintage Daher Rectangular Metal Tray Made in England
The personality of a house is indefinable, but there never lived a lady of great cultivation and charm whose home, whether a palace, a farm-cottage or a tiny apartment, did not reflect the charm of its owner. Emily Post, 1925
{HISTORY}
Made in England for Daher, a US-based gift packaging company headquartered in Long Island, New York, this vintage metal tray has all sorts of handy purposes. Containing a gorgeous coral peony center floral bouquet and a decorative edge of poppy-like flowers, it's a beautiful art piece in and of itself. But it's also highly adaptable for use as a tea or snack tray, a desk organizer, a mail holder, and a place to keep your keys, phone, and other assorted odds and ends. It even makes a great cocktail carrier.
Here in the Vintage Kitchen, we love it best for its serving tray abilities. Whether you are carrying cool-weather cocktails to the patio, afternoon tea to the living room, or serving morning coffee in bed, this tray will keep all your beverages neatly contained.
Well-sized at 14" inches (length) x 7.25" inches (width) it easily holds two teacups with saucers while leaving extra room for cream and sugar, a bud vase, and assorted linens.
