Founded in Shropshire, England, in the 1790s, Coalport has long been associated with the highest quality bone china in the world. In the 1960s, Coalport debuted its Countryware series just a few years before it became part of fellow luxury brand Wedgwood in 1967. Countryware, with its bright white color palette and cabbage leaf style design, is a gorgeous example of the timeless appeal of Coalport's illustrious reputation.

This set of six Countryware crescent-shaped salad plates features arched rows of cabbage leaves arranged in graduated, overlapping layers. Textured to perfection, they are nothing but eye-catching and offer a whole host of styling options that can take you through every season of the year. Thin and delicate, each leaf is roughly the size of a large Brussels sprout with a finished scalloped edge shape and a textured composition.

Ideally suited for side salads, we also love these for serving oysters, fresh fruit, summer sorbet, appetizers, samplings of cheese, nuts, and assorted charcuterie, and of course all the myriad arrangements and components a fresh salad has to offer.
