Vintage Clear Glass Sailboat Pitcher with Seagulls circa 1950s-1970s
{HISTORY}
Set sail on the high seas, vintage style, with this nautical glass pitcher!
Featuring sea green waves, pale celadon masted sailboats, and a flock of color-coordinated seagulls, this pretty pitcher is the belle of the beverage cart when it comes to serving up summer cocktails, homemade lemonade, and seltzer-infused spritzers.
Large in size, its great for a gathering or for whipping up a big batch of your favorite beverage for fridge storage, but it's also super pretty for use as flower vase for your beach house or a water jug for your seaside garden.
Unmarked as to maker or manufacturer, we suspect it was made by either Anchor Hocking or Hazel Atlas, as both companies produced nautical glassware designs of varying scenes between the 1950s and 1970s. This one is hard to find both in color palette and its multi-boat setting.
With clear glass, crisp lines, and a pastel palette, it adds instant festivity to both indoor and outdoor soirees and a light and breezy vintage aesthetic to shelf and cupboard displays.

{CONDITION}
In lovely vintage condition, this pitcher contains no cracks or chips. The nautical scenes are crisp and clear. A little haphazardly made, there are a few manufacturing flaws which you might think on first glance are cracks but they are actually seam lines that didn't match up during the manufacturing process. These appear on the sailboat portion of the pitcher in the straight line directly under the spout and also on the circular ring at the bottom of the pitcher. These are very insignificant markings that are not easily detectable and do not in any way affect the actual use of the pitcher. Please see photos.
{SIZE}
Measures 9.5" inches (height) x 5.5" inches (diameter at opening) x 7.5" inches (width from edge of handle to edge of widest part of the pitcher) and weighs just a smidge under 3 lbs.
