Vintage Brown Ceramic Peacock Figurine circa 1960s
{HISTORY}
Hailing from the 1960s, this handsome peacock with his ruffled tail and elegant stance was handpainted from a Japanese mold, giving him unique, one-of-a-kind personality. Stylish and aristocratic, we love his monochromatic color palette of dark chocolate flecked with hints of deep amber combine with the ultra-shiny glaze that allows light to bounce off his back, artistically highlighting the fan-shaped curve of his tail and the detailed markings in his feathers.
A lovely companion for table and cupboard, this guy looks gorgeous with brown transferware dishes and antique ironstone. Thanks to his neutral color palette he travels the seasons well when it comes to the decor department, but he's especially eye-catching for Thanksgiving centerpieces and autumn styling.
