Vintage 1970s Playing Cards with Bird Design in Congress Box - Two Complete Decks
Birds of a feather flock together...
{HISTORY}
Let the games begin!
Card night never looked prettier than with these two vintage card decks. Made by Stancraft in the 1970s, this pair of Stardust brand decks were made for the serious card player, as they contained a plastic-coated Nu-Vue application that reduced eye fatigue by 35%. That means, you could play cards well into the night with your gal pals.
Housed in a grey-blue velour-clad 1940s era Congress Playing Cards box, these birds and this box were not intended to go together but they make a fine pair now. The Congress box features a pull-out drawer where the two decks of playing cards sit. This style box was designed for bridge players in particular. The birds like this house just as fine since it keeps the cards clean and tidy.
Both decks contain complete sets - 52 cards each plus a joker in each deck.
