Vintage 1970s Platinum Rimmed Champagne Glasses Coupe Style - Schott Zwiesel Neckar Pattern
ONE SHOULD ALWAYS BE DRUNK. THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS... BUT WITH WHAT? WITH WINE, WITH POETRY OR WITH VIRTUE, AS YOU CHOOSE. BUT GET DRUNK. CHARLES BAUDELAIRE
{HISTORY}
Cheers come home to celebrate with this pair of two vintage champagne glasses made in Germany by Schott Zwiesel. Simple and elegant, this group was designed in their Neckar pattern which debuted in the 1970s and features a shiny silver (also known as platinum) rim and beveled stem.
Throughout the past 150 years, Schott Zwiesel (now known as Zweisel Kristallglas) has manufactured many different types of glassware products for the global market. At the company's start and heart was founder, Anton Muller, who founded the Zwiesel Glass Works in 1872. Since then his company and its generations of employees after him, have creatively evolved and adapted to the changing needs and requests of glass buyers throughout the past century. Supplying glass products for a big range of customers including the government during the war years and the hospitality and retail industry throughout the 20th century, Schott Zwiesel has been committed to creating quality products since the very beginning.
We especially love these glasses for their delicate composition, thin bowls, and beautiful sound when clinked together in celebratory fashion. There's nothing like keeping a good party going and these two have definitely proven to be good-time givers for 50 years!
