Vintage 1960's Wind Up Alarm Clock - Robertshaw Controls Company Juliet Lux - Non Working Condition
But, soft! What light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun. William Shakespeare
{HISTORY}
Ever since the days of Shakespeare, Juliet has been enchanting people. This table-top alarm clock isn't as old as the love story of Romeo and Juliet, but it's just as pretty in style and sentiment. A leading manufacturer in the thermostat business, Robertshaw Controls Company, began making clocks after they purchased Lux Clock Manufacturing in Lebanon, TN in the 1960's. What followed was an array of wall mounted and table-top clocks and kitchen timers that quickly became known for their high quality and fine craftsmanship.
Although presently not in working order, tinkerers will enjoy getting this gal back up and running again. Clock enthusiasts unconcerned with accuracy or the keeping of time, will appreciate her classic shape and style. An elegant piece of ornamental decor, Juliet instantly adds style and personality to your kitchen, dining area or bar cart.
