{HISTORY}

Oh the Cape! With its gorgeous beaches, New England architecture, and relaxed, salty sea air, this dreamy coastal area of historic Massachusetts has been enchanting visitors for centuries. 

In the 1960s, when the spell was cast and you fell in love with this enchanting collection of towns and villages, you purchased a souvenir plate just like this one to take back home as a reminder of your gorgeous time spent by the sea. Maybe you hung it on a wall in your kitchen, or put it to use as a seafood server for friends and family or gave it away as a gift for a special memory celebrated. Either way, this beautiful gold and white souvenir plate casts a shimmery spell of magical times caught up in a magical place. 

As far as souvenir plates go, this one is absolutely lovely with its very shiny color palette and iconic points of interest. Here in the Vintage Kitchen, our favorite part is the two lobsters decorating the top edge, but further delights can be found in the icons of the Cape's signature points of interest. There's historic Plymouth Rock, the Cape Cod Windmill, the Highland Lighthouse and all the waterways that make up maritime life here in coastal Massachusetts. 

Containing its original gift store sticker from the Colonial Gift Coach in Centerville, MA this little traveler from history adds a touch of vintage charm to any space where dreams of the New England seashore dwell.

{CONDITION}

In absolutely lovely vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The gold detailing is crisp and clear with no fading or rub marks with the exception of one very small spot (barely noticeable) to the left of the C in Cape. Otherwise, this plate looks practically brand new. Please see photos.
