In the early 1950s, Universal Pottery introduced their Ballerina line - a graceful, elegant dishware collection that came in a variety of designer solids and florals so that buyers could mix and match pieces with ease and confidence.
Made in Cambridge, OH the Ballerinas were a beautiful addition to the kitchen, offering fade-proof designs thanks to their permacal glazing. This set of two luncheon plates features the Moss Rose pattern with an interesting back shadow effect and a complementary blend of pink, green and grey colors.

In lovely vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks but there are a few light utensil marks on each center rose. Please see photos.
