Vintage 1950s Salt & Pepper Shaker Birds - Set of Three Blue Green and Purple Ceramic Birds
I never gave up for a day listening to the songs of our birds, or watching their peculiar habits or delineating them in the best way I could. John James Audubon
Flying into your kitchen straight from the 1950's comes this rare little trio of earthy colored salt and pepper shakers. Originally there was probably four of them, two sets of salt and two sets of pepper, but now there are three and no one wants to talk about the bird that didn't make it. Life is quirky in the world of salt and pepper shakers too. Why not use the third bird for your other favorite seasoning, whether it be garlic powder or cumin, cayenne pepper or tumeric.. any spice you choose will be a helpful addition to your table and will keep all these birds together like a little pack.
So cute in shape and size, these birds are unmarked as to maker or manufacturer but come with their original rubber stoppers and are clean as a whistle.
