Vintage 12 Days of Christmas Tea Towel by KayDee Designs
On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me...
{HISTORY}
Why not sing a little tune while you scurry around the Christmas kitchen? Merry and bright, this 12 Days of Christmas vintage tea towel adds holiday cheer to your kitchen decor, tea tray, and table settings. Made by Kay Dee, a Rhode Island-based kitchen textile company that was founded in the early 1950s, it is made of 100% pure linen which gives it a strong constitution and long-lasting durability.
First appearing in an English children's book, the words to Twelve Days of Christmas became a popular song in the late 1800s. Although some of the wording has changed over time depending on lyricist and/or composer, this version printed here contains all the familiar favorites that we know today.
Check out those nine ladies dancing, those seven swans a-swimming, those pretty three french hens. Containing a gorgeous array of seasonal colors that will enhance any holiday home, this tea towel is full of cheer lovely imagery. And of course, there is the star (and the start) of the song - the partridge in the pear tree. Classic Christmas at its best!

{CONDITION}
In gorgeous condition. No holes, tears, rips or pulled threads. No spots or stains. Near the neck of the partridge in between the pear leaves and the bells, at first glance it looks like there is a tiny little rust spot, but that is actually errant ink from the screen printing as it matches the exact same shade of the yellows in the nearby bells. Please see photos.
