{HISTORY}

Inspired by the flowers at Adelman Peony Gardens in Salem, Oregon, this 2026 painting by Pacific Northwest artist, Marianne Thomas, captures the long vistas of pink-petaled flower fields, tree-dotted horizons, and sweeping skies that comprise the scenic landscape of Oregon's Willamette River Valley.

Painted in acrylic and finished with a protective acrylic spray that adds an oil painting-like shine, this landscape is framed in a vintage black wood frame with gold accents that pick up the gold highlights in the painting. 

Impressionistic in style with a light and bright springtime color palette of celadon, butter, sky blue, mint, sage, bubblegum, blush, ice pink, and gold, it's sized at 7.75" inches (length) x 4.75" inches (width).

Perfectly suited for wall display and shelf decor, this pretty vista keeps the lovely light of springtime and the fleeting sight of pink-petaled peonies on display all year round.
