Johnson Brothers Ironstone Sugar Bowl - Heritage Pattern - Made in England
I always felt like having a garden was like having a good and loyal friend. C.Z. Guest
{HISTORY}
Began in England in 1883 as a venture between four brothers, Johnson Brothers pottery grew quickly into success with the manufacture of whiteware and semi-porcelain. With a big fan base located in the U.S the brothers also set up shop in New York City where a number of their pattern lines reigned supreme throughout the 20th century. In the 1960's they became part of the Wedgwood China Group and shortly after they started producing the Heritage line from which our humble sugar bowl was born. Durable, attractive and dynamic in form and function the Heritage line became one of the bestselling patterns in the Johnson Brothers catalog and was reproduced up until the early 2000's.
