Handmade Batten Lace Tablecloth 36x36 - Made in Shandong China - Ecru Embroidery Lace Needlework
The strength of a nation derives from the integrity of the home. Confucious
{HISTORY}
From the collection of a world traveler, comes two matching Batten lace and embroidery tablecloths handmade in Shandong China, the spiritual wellness province located on the Yellow Sea. As a world pilgrimage center for Taoism and Buddhism, this is the region where Confucious was born and where people travel each year to worship at the foot of Mt. Tai. Because both Taoism and Buddishm are all about living in harmony, these tablecloths hold special symbolic beauty that is especially ideal decor for events like weddings, anniversary parties, and baby showers. Feminine and romantic they look lovely draped over opposite surfaces - like weathered wood tables and painted brick.
These two were tucked away for years in a drawer. They still retain their original sales tags and are in pristine condition. Their square size, and the fact there are two of them, makes them also ideal for sewing projects (see style ideas below). Please note, each cloth is sold separately.
