The cover boards bear small spots and light stains which give it a pretty character and aged patina. The spine is tight and all pages are clean, bright and intact. on a handful of pages at the bottom the pages bear small rips (see photos) as happens sometimes with the aging of vintage paper. This was caused most likely as a previous owner turned the pages quickly from the bottom instead of slowly from the sides. None of the rips affect the ability to read the book. Gift inscription on inside endpaper.
