{HISTORY}

Gorgeous in its simplicity, this antique mixing bowl is one of the most classic staples of 19th and early 20th-century kitchens. The color of straw and double-glazed on both the inside and out, its shiny stoneware surface, medium size, and durable composition made this little worker such a practical and reliable helper for over a century.

Measuring 7.25" inches (diameter) x 3.25" inches (height) and weighing in at just a smidge over 1.5 lbs, this bowl is a lovely companion piece to stoneware collections, primitive kitchen aesthetics, and minimalist decor.  

Unmarked as far as maker or manufacturer, we suspect it was made sometime around 1910 or before and possibly came in a nested set with bowls that ranged in diameter from 5" inches up to 11" inches. 

Natural, neutral, and full of history, there are few pieces in the kitchen that add more character and an immediate aesthetic than a mixing bowl. This one exudes wonderful warmth and time-worn appeal.

{CONDITION}

In beautiful antique condition, this bowl contains no chips or cracks. Natural imperfections in the clay on the exterior of the bowl add character. The interior is very clean and bright. Please see photos.
