Large Antique Semi Vitreous Porcelain Pitcher - The United States Pottery Company Circa 1893-1922
{HISTORY}
This semi-vitreous porcelain antique pitcher was made by the United States Pottery Company in Wellsville, Ohio sometime between 1893-1922. With both the look and feel of ironstone, it is a hefty beauty with thick walls, delicate gold filigree around the rim, and a bouquet of pastel pink and yellow roses.
Antique pieces from the United States Pottery Company are real rarities these days. The Pottery was only in business for less than three decades, but what they were known for their exceptionally high quality of manufacturing and durability so they are prized pieces among collectors today.

{CONDITION}
In lovely antique condition. There is one light grey scuff mark near the base of the pitcher and rub marks associated with age on some parts of the rose bouquet design as well as the handle. There is one tiny pit mark near the center of the yellow rose on one side (please see photo). There are no chips or cracks.

Measures 8.5" inches (height) x 8" inches (width) and weighs just under 3lbs. This pitcher holds 11 cups of water.
