{HISTORY}

Made by Harker Pottery in East Liverpool, OH, this pretty dish shape is called Royal Dragoon and debuted for the first time in the 1940s. With its stylized embossed edge that resembles a ring of feathers or a ring of flower petals or a ring of rope, depending on your mindset, this delicate dish shape was combined with a variety of different floral patterns to make a unique series of dishware that was both stylish and distinct.

These two berry bowls feature the Royal Gadroon shape and the Violet pattern, an exquisite combination of delicate color and design. Ideally sized for a variety of foods from breakfast to dinnertime dessert, these two are artistic statement pieces just as much as they are functional serving bowls.

{CONDITION}

In lovely vintage condition. There are no cracks or crazing. There is one tiny, tiny, tiny chip on the rim of one bowl but due to the design pattern, you can barely see it. Please see photo for detail.
