{HISTORY} 

For those who appreciate just a wee bit of coffee, this cute little mini coffee pot percolator is the ideal partner for just a cup or two.  Made during the 1960s by Comet Aluminum, this little wonder was an ever-popular component to the vintage kitchen of yesteryear. With a max capacity of two cups, all that this coffee system requires is hot water and grounds to brew a delightful cup of coffee just to your liking. Simplicity at its best!

The beginnings of the coffee percolator date all the way back to 1810 when Benjamin Thompson began tinkering around with the food choices of soldiers in the Bavarian Army. He was the one to realize the effect that coffee offered in perking men up and devised a rudimentary transportable coffee pot. Fast forward throughout the 19th century and a Frenchman, an American, and eventually, an Illinois farmer all made improvements to the original coffee percolator design that we are familiar with today. 

This pot features the classic aluminum and black color combination and features the original glass knob and interior basket.

{CONDITION}

In fully functional condition. There is light staining on the interior bottom of the pot as well as two small dents along the bottom edge of the pot, which does not affect its performance in any way. All accessory pieces are in great shape and very clean. There are no chips or cracks on the glass knob.  Please see photos.

Measures 7" inches tall x 7.5" inches (width -spout to handle). Clean interior with just light coffee staining on the interior bottom.

{WHY IT IS SO FUN}

Totally useful if the power goes out or if you want to brew fresh coffee while exploring the wilderness, this aluminum container also makes a fun watering can for your patio plants,  a great storage holder for your kitchen utensils, or a vase for your table centerpiece floral bouquet.
