Vintage Embroidered Kitchen Linen - Marigold Flowers - Cross Stitch Embroidery
At the heart of all marigolds is the symbol of love. They represent joy and sunshine, sadness for lost love, gratitude and protection...
{HISTORY}
One of the most symbolically interesting flowers, marigolds are petite garden growers with big-time emotional impact. Their bright orange, red and yellow petals spark visual joy and happiness. Their scent in the garden protects against certain pests destined to destroy other neighboring plants, and in certain cultures around the world, marigolds represent grateful gifts to the gods and tokens of broken hearts. Anyway you interpret these associations, you'll find love at the core of a marigold's message.
As far as interior design goes, you can't go wrong with a sunny marigold bouquet in your kitchen or your dining space. Cheerful and bright, they have the power to instantly light up a room, making it glow with the colors of the sun. This vintage embroidered linen features six marigold flowers and an interesting shape, which makes it a good choice for table centerpiece decoration, basket display, tray liner or as a statement piece hanging from a hook or handle. Anywhere you choose to place it, you'll see that it instantly adds a little bit of bright beauty to your space.
