{HISTORY}
In a midcentury kitchen in New York City, Old Dutch was started by two guys passionate about copper cookware. That was in the 1950's. Still going strong today, it is still a family operation today, now expanding its glova reach with the same enthusiasm that started it. The De La Cuisine series debuted in the 1960's and ran the gamut as far as pots and pans, pantry items, warming servers and the like. French cooks have always been fans of copper cookware for their superior overall quality and even heating capability. Plus they are marvelously stylish.
This set of vintage 1960's De La Cuisine canisters is copper plated over aluminum for lightweight, easy-to-move-around organization and effortless maintenance. They are super clean on the inside and authentically weathered on the outside giving them a wonderful aged patina just like old copper.
