So sweet in sentiment and style, this vintage embroidery sampler features the cutest little domestic scene of kitty, pup, house, and garden alongside a lovely message about finding all you need at home. The sentiment was a variation of an original quote by Irish novelist, George Moore (1852-1933) who said... "A man travels the world over in search of what he needs and returns home to find it." 

Embroidered using the cross-stitch style, this sampler contains an array of colors that include lime green, red, orange, beige, chocolate, navy blue, light blue and yellow.  Just the right amount of complimentary shades for a plethora of mix-and-match decorating possibilities.

{CONDITION}

In beautiful vintage condition, this sampler is very clean and bright with no pulled threads or errant stitches. There is a little bit of light tanning around the edge of the cloth due to age. Please see photos.
