Vintage Brass Rabbit Figurine with the Delightfully Furious Face
A new idea is delicate. it can be killed by a sneer or a yawn. It can be stabbed to death by a quip and worried to death by a frown on the right man's brow. Ovid
{HISTORY}
Oh rabbit! Here in the Vintage Kitchen we just love the furious face on this little guy. Made of solid brass with lots of etchings to reveal a detailed figure, this grumpy bunny has the cutest expression. Most likely he started out as a paperweight, but we like to imagine him as the picky eater in the family, the one who only wants to eat carrots or lettuce or cabbage for weeks on end. Like any good kitchen critic, he will absolutely give you his honest opinion, and since he's very hard to please you have quite a challenge on your hands! And that is absolutely what we adore about him. His beauty lies in all that matter-of-factness sitting plain and visible on his face.
That expression is also what makes him a perfectly whimsical style choice for the kitchen - a motivator if you will - pushing you to create something so fantastic that even the bunny couldn't help but be filled with enthusiasm.
Dating somewhere to the 1960s/1970s era, he doesn't come with any manufacturing details but he does come with lots of patina. Years of history have settled about him nicely - darkening some lines and highlighting others to give him a totally unique personality Everybody could use a little bit of humor and whimsy in the kitchen. This guy promises to provoke a few fun stories to get your imagination hopping!
