{HISTORY}

These vintage Fire King snacking trays were the 1960's equivalent of the portable party platter. By far prettier than a paper plate, these individual trays were intended to hold snacks and a drink cup for stylish, sturdy, no-spill minglers who wanted to easily eat while they moved around a room. Made between 1960-1962, the Primrose pattern collection included an array of serving pieces that contained bowls, platters, cups and covered dishes. It was the first collection in the Anchor Hocking Fire King catalog that was able to go from oven to table combining the gorgeous look of china dishware with the functional service of ovenware.. 

{SPECIAL FEATURES}

{CONDITION}

In gorgeous vintage condition. Very clean. Crisp, clear graphics and no cracks. There are two old, small chips on two trays right in the same spot about halfway down one long edge of the rim. The chips are almost invisible and are so old they are soft and smooth to the touch. You can run your finger over them without any worry of cutting or scratching yourself. Each tray measures 11.25" inches (length handle to handle) x 6" inches (width)  x.75" inches (height).
