{HISTORY}

Featuring the Pink Magnolia pattern, this gorgeous floral teapot was made in 1952 by America's most prolific dishware manufacturer, Homer Laughlin. Made in Newell, West Virginia, it features the Rhythm shape with gold detailing around the rim and handle.

Considered modern and fresh this Rhythm shape with its graceful lines and large-scale flower patterns was an updated approach to floral dishware from the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s. Big and bold, Rhythm pieces reflected a sophisticated yet playful aesthetic. 

So pretty for spring when the real-life magnolias are all abloom and scenting the air, this teapot has such a pretty garden party vibe. Hard to find nowadays, this one comes complete with its original lid and 1952 date code stamped on the bottom. It's seen a little bit of adventure in its 70 years of life, with a small chip on the bottom of the pot and two of the teensiest, tiniest ones on the lid, but those small flaws do not diminish its overall charm. Clean and bright as the day it was made, apart from its three small chips, this teapot was cared for beautifully throughout its long life.

{CONDITION}

In lovely vintage condition, this teapot is very clean and shiny both inside and out. The floral transferware contains some wear and impercetions in the application. There are no cracks or staining but there is 1/2" inch chip on the bottom pedestal of the pot and two pencil point size chips on the knob of the lid. Both these flaws are minor and do not affect the overall use or integrity of the teapot. Please see photos.
