This vintage 1920s  stoneware mixing bowl is a true lover of vintage kitchen life. Unmarked as to maker or manufacturer, we can only guess that it was American made and spent the majority of its long life mixing up a bevy of batters in kitchens long ago. 

So classic with its blue and white stripes and so stylish with its embossed details, this bowl carries with it so much charm and personality. A true worker, this one is in remarkable shape given its age, with an ultra-shiny exterior but some signs of time-worn use on the interior - evidence of decades of mixing and whipping, beating and mashing all sorts of delights.

Mixing bowls are one of the most personal and intimate and beloved pieces of dishware in the entire kitchen and often become prized treasures passed down through generations. Here in this bowl, tumbling around with all the other ingredients were hope, optimism, pride and love for whatever finished food this bowl was whipping up. Maybe a cake for a special birthday or pancakes for a big Sunday breakfast or the filling for a pie destined for a party. {CONDITION}

Contains shiny glaze on the exterior and a more matte glaze on the interior as expected with age and use. There are scuff marks on the inside, created over time by spoons and mixing instruments. There is one chip that measures 3/4" of an inch x 1/8th" of an inch on one of the white stripes on the rim and a smaller chip that measures 1/8th of an inch of the rim edge just above the other chip. Please see photos. Otherwise, there are no other chips or cracks.
