{HISTORY}

An unidentified beauty, most likely of antique age, this plate is of mysterious origins but completely and apparently gorgeous in design. Here in the Vintage Kitchen, we always love discovering red and green serving plates that call to mind a Christmas palette yet do not contain traditional Christmas motifs.

Maybe this year you will want to elevate your Christmas cookie platter for Santa to something like this or perhaps it will sit center stage on your holiday mantle tucked in between all your fresh cut greenery.

Festive, without being cliche, it carries all the hallmarks of holiday cheer including a gold glittery rim, forest green shading, and crimson poppy flowers. The scalloped edge and embossed shell-style details add extra flourish.

{CONDITION}

In lovely condition.No chips. There is one faint hairline crack that measures 1.5" inches on the one side near the rim. This crack is so insignificant and barely noticeable it doesn't even show up in photographs. It does not affect the structure of the plate at all.
