An integral part of summer fun for millions of East Coast vacationers, New Jersey boasts all sorts of holiday entertainment when it comes to warm-weather activities. Sunbathing, cycling, sailing... this vintage mid-20th-century souvenir tablecloth highlights them all.

From its long stretch of beaches to the resort hotels of Atlantic City to the hallowed halls of Princeton University, the icons of the Garden State are all prominently featured here on this colorful vintage 46" x 50" cotton cloth made sometime between the 1940s and 1950s.

Ringed in yellow roses and accented with sailboats, nautical symbols, fish, farm vegetables, bicycles, and bathing beauties, this hard-to-find example of a vintage travel souvenir illustrates in the prettiest ways the most festive aspects of the third-oldest state in the U.S.. A popular memento of fun times had, these types of travel take-homes kept the memories of a great vacation swirling around fun tabletime conversations for years to come. 

Beach cottage approved with unique nautical flair, large scripted font and bright complementary colors, nowadays this cloth makes just as pretty a wall hanging as it does a tablecloth. {CONDITION}

In lovely vintage condition, this tablecloth is very bright and clean with clear graphics. The cloth itself contains no holes, rips or tears and all the colors/graphics are crisp and vibrant.  There are three very, very, very light spots (a very pale cream color ) near Lakeland, near the rose border by the bicycle, and in the white border near the sailfish. The spots are less then a dime in size and are so light they don't appear in photographs and are very difficult to detect even in bright light. There is also one small part of light fading (about 4" inches in length) in the red border at the bottom of the cloth and a very thin light grey mark near the red border on the right side that measures 2"inches in length. Like the spots, the fading and the grey mark are barely noticeable. Please see photos.
